The United Nations expressed concern on Friday about Israeli attacks on a "densely populated" region in the Southern Suburb of Lebanon's capital, Beirut.

The Israeli occupation military carried out on Friday several airstrikes that hit residential neighborhoods in the Haret Hreik area in the Southern Suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

"The UN is watching with great alarm" the strikes on Beirut, UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said during a briefing.

Dujarric expressed that "anyone who looks at the pictures of smoke billowing from a densely populated area should be alarmed," adding that "we are trying to gather more information as we speak."

This comes in parallel with the massive aggression that "Israel" has launched since Monday against South Lebanon and the Bekaa region to its east, which has killed more than 700 people, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Videos circulating on social media showed the immense impact of the Israeli airstrikes on the targeted area.

Six buildings were destroyed to the ground as a result of the latest Israeli aggression.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that 2,000 tons of explosives were dropped on Beirut's Southern Suburb in the recent assault.

The media are also talking about the failure of the goal of the aggression.

The Israeli Army Radio pointed out that F-35 aircraft carried out the airstrikes using bunker-buster bombs.

Our correspondent mentioned that the destruction resulting from the aggression "is devastating, and several buildings were razed to the ground," as efforts to clear the rubble and search for survivors and injured individuals are ongoing.

For the second consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces struck #Beirut's Southern Suburb, specifically targeting residential neighborhoods in Haret Hreik, according to #AlMayadeen's correspondent.

The strike came only minutes after Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly, prompting member nations to organize a mass walkout.

During his speech, Netanyahu dared to defend his morally depraved army's actions in Lebanon and Gaza, citing that the occupation was "tolerating this intolerable situation for nearly a year."

"Well, I've come here today to say enough is enough," he told the UNGA.

The PM also made ludicrous allegations that "Israel" was "fighting for its life," as many delegations walked out of the room.

Netanyahu, not in possession of a basic mirror, described the enemies of "Israel" as "savage murderers" who were intent on destroying not only the Israeli occupation but "common civilization and return all of us to a dark age of tyranny and terror."

Attempting to blame Iran, he claimed "Israel" was "defending itself" against the Islamic Republic on 7 different fronts, including the Palestinian Resistance Hamas.

He boldly threatened Tehran claiming that there was "

Netanyahu's lies did not stop there. He also claimed that "Israel" was allegedly winning this 7-front war.

"We'll continue degrading Hezbollah until all our objectives are made," he added.
