Israeli occupation forces and settlers attacked Palestinians on Monday evening, burning homes and vehicles, in the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, sources told Al Mayadeen.

Israeli occupation forces are also preventing ambulances from reaching the injuries in the town.

Under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, settlers attacked the house of Palestinian citizen Mahmoud Hamed, located at the entrance to the village, and targeted it with Molotov cocktails, causing it and a vehicle to catch fire.

Settlers also burned the house of Palestinian citizen Jamal Reda and his vehicle, before attacking two other houses in the area, amid confrontations with citizens.

Israeli occupation forces blocked all the main and subsidiary entrances to Burqa, and large numbers of occupation soldiers and settlers were deployed on the outskirts of the town.

This comes in conjunction with Israeli media confirming reports about the injury of an Israeli settler near the entrance to the town of Burqa.

In a related context, Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive combing operations, fired flares, and closed the "Shavei Shomron" and "Homesh" checkpoints, located on the Nablus-Jenin road.

They also fired tear gas bombs during their raid on the town of Faqoua, Jenin district.

Also on Monday, occupation forces leveled three houses belonging to Palestinian citizens in the town of al-Walaja, south of occupied al-Quds.

In addition, Palestinian Resistance fighters opened fire on Israeli occupying forces during their incursion into the city of Tubas in the occupied West Bank.

In continuation of their attempts to tighten the noose on the Palestinian people, Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out large-scale raids that include arbitrary detention campaigns, physical assaults, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to acts of sabotage and destruction of civilian homes.

"Israel" is escalating its aggression against the occupied West Bank, in conjunction with its aggression against the Gaza Strip, ongoing for 136 days now.
