Unity among Islamic nations will stop Israeli crimes: Pezeshkian
During a military parade marking Iran's Sacred Defense week, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized Iran's military power, which has prevented enemy incursions, while showcasing Iran's new "Jihad" ballistic missile.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the nation’s defensive capabilities and deterrent strength have evolved to such a level that no entity would dare contemplate an attack on its territory.
He asserted, "Our land, air, naval, and army forces, along with all those committed to defending this country, have mobilized to ensure that not a single inch of our territory falls into the hands of the enemy."
During his speech on Saturday at the military parade marking the anniversary of Sacred Defense Week, President Pezeshkian stated, "With the presence of our combat forces and the strength of our army, no power in the world could hinder the continuation of our revolutionary path."
He noted that Iran can stand proud due to the presence of its leaders, as well as the strength and dedication of its military, army, and navy.
Pezeshkian highlighted that the greatest sacrifices were made across the country during the years of the Iran-Iraq war, known in Iran as the Sacred Defense, emphasizing that "the enemy was driven to despair."
Unity, Cohesion can protect the region
Pezeshkian also said that in addition to defending the country, through unity and cohesion among Islamic nations, "we can ensure peace and security in our region while showcasing our dignity and pride to the world."
He added that through this alliance, we can counter the Zionist entity, explaining that "if we unite and cooperate, the Zionist entity will not be able to sustain its crimes."
During the ceremony, 21 ballistic missiles were showcased, including the "Jihad" missile which was showcased for the first time. Other displayed missiles included the "Khaybar Khan," "Fateh," four "Haj Qassem", two "Ghadr-H," two "Emad," three "Khorramshahr," and four "Sajil," missiles according to Iranian agencies.
The Jihad is the latest liquid-fuel ballistic missile developed by the IRGC Aerospace Force. It has a high-explosive detachable warhead and a range of 1000 km.
Iran's IRGC also paraded the Shahed-136B, the latest version of Iran's Shahed-136 one-way drone, was also shown for the first time. This version has a range of 2,000 km and is equipped with a 50kg warhead.
