Iran possesses 9 types of missiles capable of hitting 'Israel'
Iranian news agency reports on Iran's possession of nine types of missiles with ranges capable of hitting Israel.
Iran possesses nine types of missiles with speeds ranging from 6,125 kilometres per hour to 17,151 kilometres per hour (equivalent to Mach 5-14), a report by Iranian news agency ISNA revealed.
The report emphasized that these ranges are capable of targeting "Israel".
Additionally, the report featured an infographic detailing the following Iranian ballistic missiles: Sejjil, Kheibar, Emad, Shahab-3, Ghadr, Paveh, Fattah-2, Kheibar Shekan, and Haj Qasem.
This report emerges amid expectations of retaliation from Iran's Armed Forces in response to the brazen assassination of seven of its personnel, including Martyr Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the Commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon. The expected retaliation follows an airstrike that violated the sanctity of diplomatic compounds, striking the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

A source revealed to Al Mayadeen that Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, is set to visit Damascus on Monday, following his trip to Oman.
Earlier on Sunday, the Iranian Foreign Minister denounced, during a meeting with Sanaa chief negotiator Mohammad Abdul-Salam in Muscat, Oman, the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, assigning responsibility to "Zionist forces employing American-manufactured aircraft and missiles."
On April 1, US-supplied Israeli F-35 fighter jets launched six missiles toward the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, leading to the martyrdom of seven Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) officers, including martyr Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi.
The US failed to condemn the attack during an urgent meeting of the UNSC. Its deputy representative Robert Wood said that Washington cannot confirm information about the event and the nature of the attacked facility.
Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that Tehran would respond and punish the aggressors, revealing plans to take legal and international measures within the framework of international resolutions.
Regarding the Yemeni issue, Amir-Abdollahian said, "Iran's relationship with Saudi Arabia is moving towards further development," adding that Tehran supports Yemeni-Yemeni negotiations.
