Unknown drone attack targets Taji Camp in Baghdad, Iraq
Multiple explosions were heard in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, particularly at Camp Taji,a military installation used by Iraqi and the US-led coalition forces.

Baghdad Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Walid al-Tamimi, announced that an unknown drone attack targeted a site in Taji Camp, located north of the Iraqi capital.
Media outlets had reported that multiple explosions were heard in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, further clarifying that they occurred at Camp Taji, also known as Camp Cooke, a military installation used by Iraqi and the US-led coalition forces.

In a statement to the Iraqi News Agency, al-Tamimi confirmed, “An unknown drone targeted one of the sites in Taji Camp. There were no human casualties.”
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Iraq also reported that preliminary assessments suggest the explosion at Taji Camp may have resulted from a strike carried out by an unidentified drone.
According to our correspondent, the explosion affected the aerial radar system, an electrical maintenance section, and fuel storage tanks.
Explosions were also heard in the Saladin Governorate, as local media reported that an attack targeted the Balad Air Base, home to the Iraqi Air Force's contingent of F-16 fighter jets. Additionally, explosions were reportedly heard near the Baghdad International Airport.
