The UNRWA statement notes the presence of an "exodus" of the population from Gaza, adding that the younger generation is "forced to live through traumas of ancestors or parents".
The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed on Wednesday that Palestinians are experiencing their largest displacement since 1948 in the last few weeks.

70 schools targeted so far
The media advisor to UNRWA in the Gaza Strip, Adnan Abu Hasna, confirmed on Monday that the number of displaced people throughout the Strip has reached about 1.7 million people since the beginning of the Israeli aggression.
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Abu Hasna added that the number of displaced people in UNRWA schools has reached about 900,000 and that there are hundreds of thousands in the streets with no place for shelter, adding that 104 UNRWA workers have been martyred since "Israel" launched its attack on the Strip.
Meanwhile, he explained that more than 70 institutions and schools affiliated with the UN Relief Agency were targeted by Israeli occupation missiles, stressing that these centers were flying the United Nations flag.

According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the health system in Gaza has reached a "point of no return," with medical facilities and health workers reaching a breaking point.
As per the Palestinian Health Ministry, 21 out of 35 hospitals in Gaza have stopped operations, either due to Israeli strikes or lack of fuel.
The World Health Organization (WHO) released a statement saying that the Indonesian Hospital is still under siege to this point, adding that basic necessities have been cut off from healthcare workers and patients, as well as their families.
WHO said that it had recorded 335 attacks on healthcare institutions in "occupied Palestinian territory" since October 7, including institutions in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
