Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Yemen reported on Thursday an aerial aggression carried out jointly between the United States and Britain targeting the coastal province of Hodeidah on the Red Sea, west of Yemen.

American and British fighter jets targeted with four separate airstrikes the al-Jah district in Beit al-Faqi Directorate, south of the Governorate, he added.

The attack comes one day after the two countries targeted with four waves of strikes the Hodeidah International Airport.

Earlier today, the British Maritime Trade Operations Authority (UKMTO) said it was notified of an explosion near a vessel sailing about 50 nautical miles southeast of the port of Aden in Yemen. The UKMTO noted that the ship did not suffer any damage and that its crew was safe, adding that it is heading to the next port of call while authorities investigate.

Sanaa repeatedly affirmed that it will not be deterred from supporting Gaza no matter the pressure and attacks on Yemen and that its operations will not cease until the Israeli war on the Strip stops.

Ansar Allah's spokesperson Mohammad Abdul Salam confirmed to Yemen's Al-Masirah TV on Thursday, “Yemen will not backtrack on its steadfast ... approach regarding Gaza," emphasizing that his country views its support for Gaza as a religious, humanitarian, and moral obligation for Muslims and advocates for freedom.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni Armed Forces persist with their operations in the Red and Arabian seas against Israeli and "Israel"-bound ships until the cessation of the aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip, as well as against American and British ships in response to the two countries' aggression on Yemen.

On Tuesday, the Yemeni military announced targeting and hitting the US ship Pinocchio in the Red Sea with several appropriate naval missiles.

Spokesperson Brigadier General Saree vowed that the military operations of the YAF will escalate during the holy month of Ramadan in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and Resistance fighters in the besieged Gaza Strip.
