US, Europeans dealing well with Vienna talks: Iran media
Iranian media confirms that the current round of the Vienna talks is heading toward a positive direction, and says the negotiators were able to achieve progress on some issues related to the draft.
Iranian news agency Fars quoted an informed source to the Vienna talks as saying that the Europeans have finally agreed to use a third draft as a basis for negotiations, after initially rejecting Iran's drafts on sanctions removal and Iran's nuclear commitments.
The source added that the new draft will be prepared by adding Iran's proposals to the first draft.
Despite the slow pace of the negotiation process, it is still ongoing, which shows that the Americans are looking forward to continuing the negotiations and are trying to take a more effective approach, the source indicated.
The source also pointed out that the Europeans and the Americans are dealing well with the negotiations to some extent, but they are directing the news flow in the opposite direction, in a way that the negotiations do not move forward while blaming Iran.
In the same context, the agency confirmed that the Iranian delegation in Vienna received two unofficial papers prepared by the Americans related to Iran's drafts on sanctions removal and Iran's nuclear commitments.
Fars said that, through mediators, the Iranians responded to the US papers in 12 pages.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein AmirAbdollahian said that although Iran wishes to reach an agreement with good intentions, it will not tolerate the use of threatening language.
ISNA: Negotiations on Iran's nuclear file continue in a positive direction
For its part, ISNA mentioned that the negotiations are heading toward a positive direction, despite the efforts made by foreign media to create a negative atmosphere and put pressure on Iran.
The news agency added that the negotiating teams were able to make progress on some issues related to the draft.
ISNA confirmed that positive banking and financial consultations with the private sector and some European banks are taking place on the sidelines of the talks.
The negotiations will remain active till the end of the week, while consultation on the level of experts and politicians will resume next week.
Iran has presented two drafts to the Vienna Talks on sanctions removal and Iran's nuclear commitments, with the lead negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani saying that Iran presenting these two drafts bears a testament to its seriousness in the talks.
