US forces helped "Israel" retrieve 4 captives in Gaza: NYT
A team of American experts stationed in "Israel" supported the Israeli military in retrieving the four captives by giving information and other logistical support.
Israeli and US sources have told The New York Times that the US provided intelligence on the Israeli captives retrieved from Gaza on Saturday.
Israeli occupation forces earlier announced they retrieved four live captives from the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.
Reportedly, Resistance fighters guarding the captives had clashed with an Israeli force invading the camp, which led to the death of an occupation officer from the Yamam unit.
The Israeli occupation forces launched on Saturday numerous airstrikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, which led to the death of at least 210 Palestinians and injury of 400.
A team of American experts stationed in Israeli-occupied lands supported the Israeli military in retrieving the four captives by giving information and other logistical support, according to one American official, who spoke anonymously to discuss the delicate operation.
A senior Israeli official told the NYT that the US and UK have been in "Israel" throughout the war on Gaza, assisting Israeli intelligence in gathering and analyzing information about the captives, some of whom are citizens of both countries.
Two Israeli official sources cited that US military officers gave the occupation information regarding the captives retrieved Saturday.
The Pentagon and the CIA have been sharing intelligence from drone flights over Gaza, communications intercepts, and other sources regarding the possible whereabouts of captives. The US and UK have been able to give intelligence from the air and cyberspace that Israel is unable to acquire on its own, according to an Israeli official.
Following "Israel's" assault on the Nuseirat refugee camp on Saturday which killed at least 210 Palestinians, US President Joe Biden has not only not condemned the aggression but on the contrary, celebrated the retrieval of 4 Israeli captives during the strike.
Congratulating the Israeli families for the release of the captives with French President Emmanuel Macron, Biden stated that the US "won't stop working until all the hostages are home and a ceasefire is reached. That's essential to happen."
Heartbreaking videos were shared on social media depicting dozens of martyrs, including children, killed by the Israeli indiscriminate bombing of the Nuseirat Refugee camp. Many of the martyrs have been turned into pieces scattered across the streets of the camp.
'Israel' killed some captives during Nuseirat operation: Abu Obeida
The military spokesperson of the Hamas Resistance movement, Abu Obeida, affirmed on Saturday that the Israeli occupation's massacre in the Nuseirat refugee camp was a "complex war crime that harmed its captives first."
In a statement, Abu Obeida revealed that "The enemy was able to retrieve some of the captives by committing a horrifying massacre, but killed a few others in the process."
He stressed that the operation "will pose a grave danger to the enemy's captives, and will negatively impact their circumstances and lives."
Earlier today, the Hamas Resistance movement affirmed that the Israeli occupation army's announcement of the retrieval of several captives, after eight months of aggression in which it used all military, technological, and security means, and committed all kinds of crimes, from massacres to genocide, starvation, and siege, "will not change its strategic failure in the Gaza Strip".
In a statement, Hamas highlighted that it was still holding a large number of captives, noting that it could increase its yield of captives, just like it did during the latest operation in the Jabalia refugee camp in late May.
