US warplanes launched a wave of 15 airstrikes targeting the Raghwan and Madghal districts in Yemen’s northeastern Marib governorate, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported late Monday.
In a parallel escalation, US forces also conducted a series of strikes on Kamaran Island in the Red Sea, off Yemen’s western coast.
Overnight, US strikes on Yemen renewed, with three raids targeting the al-Jahaf and al-Qadir areas in al-Jawf Governorate. Another set of strikes targeted the Marib Governorate early on Tuesday, our correspondent reported.
On Sunday evening, US warplanes launched airstrikes on the al-Sawari ceramics factory, located west of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, resulting in 32 casualties, including both martyrs and injured, according to a statement by Yemen’s Ministry of Health.
The ministry further reported that US airstrikes across Yemen have caused 338 civilian casualties since mid-March, including women and children. Health Ministry spokesperson Anis al-Asbahi stated that strikes since March 16 alone have left at least 117 civilians dead and 221 wounded.
This came shortly after US warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on April 13 across central and northern Yemen, hitting targets in the governorates of al-Bayda and Saada.
In a separate assault, three US airstrikes targeted the al-Sahleen area in the al-Salem subdistrict of Kitaf District, situated east of the Saada Governorate. The area lies near Yemen’s northern frontier, a region frequently targeted in the ongoing US aggression.
Yemeni Armed Forces down 19th US drone
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced they downed yet another US MQ-9 drone on Sunday, marking the 19th UAV downed by the YAF as the US continues its aggression on Yemen in defense of "Israel".
The UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces announced in a statement the downing of an advanced American MQ-9 drone, which came in response to the ongoing US aggression against Yemen and its massacres against the Yemeni people.
With the estimated unit cost of an MQ-9 drone at around $33 million, the total losses incurred by the US from the downing of these drones in Yemen have now surpassed $600 million.
US aggression won't weaken our military capabilities: al-Houthi
Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Ansar Allah, stated Thursday that the US has failed to diminish their military strength.
The Yemeni leader affirmed that "the Americans have not been able, and will never be able, to weaken our military capabilities," asserting that "the American aggression only contributes to further developing them more and more."
Sayyed al-Houthi further stressed that the US cannot undermine Yemen’s military stability, as it is built on unshakable ideological foundations and deeply entrenched resilience, while also condemning America’s intensified efforts to exert pressure on Yemen both politically and publicly, which he claimed was the motive behind their latest aggressive campaign targeting civilian infrastructure in the country.
He emphasized that "the Yemeni stance has an economic, security, military, and strategic impact on the Israeli enemy, and this is a very concerning situation for the enemies."
This comes as the United States continues to conduct brutal aggression on Yemen, killing hundreds of civilians, including women and children, since mid-March.
