According to the document, the resolution calls for the US "end its military and financial aid to Ukraine" after Washington committed over $100 billion of taxpayer money into assistance programs.

Fox News reported on Thursday that US House lawmakers have introduced a bill pushing for a peace settlement between Kiev and Moscow, and cease US assistance to Ukraine,  according to documents the news agency obtained.

The resolution, titled the Ukraine Fatigue Resolution, is reportedly led by U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz and another ten co-sponsors.

According to the document, the resolution calls for the US "end its military and financial aid to Ukraine" after Washington committed over $100 billion of taxpayer money into assistance programs.

It further "urges all combatants" to reach a peace settlement, noting that the US has inadvertently contributed to civilian casualties over its assistance to Kiev's forces.

Earlier this month, Politico revealed on February 3rd that a group of former US military officers are planning to send contractors to Ukraine for the purpose of repairing weapons damaged during combat.

The matter is of serious concern because it could be an excuse to send US troops disguised as contractors to Ukraine.

The group lobbying for this plan is made of former US officials and private donors and is headed by a retired army officer named Alexander Vindman.
