US occupation base in Rmelan, Syria targeted by drones
The US base in Rmelan, Syria reportedly suffered a drone attack, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
A drone attack struck American forces at the Rmelan base inside Syria, located in the northeastern part of the country, as reported by Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Iraq.
Earlier today, our correspondent said that the US base in the al-Omar oil field, east of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, was hit by a rocket attack.
A source to Al Mayadeen explained that the strike, involving 30 rockets, originated from within Syrian territory, resulting in immediate casualties. This retaliatory action was prompted by an earlier US attack that targeted a truck at the al-Qaim/al-Bukamal crossing on the border with Iraq.
More than 120 attacks on US bases
This occurs as the Islamic Resistance in Iraq persists in targeting US occupation bases in both Iraq and Syria. In line with this, it declared on Sunday the targeting of the US base in Qasrak, located in al-Hasakah's countryside in northeastern Syria, along with the Ain al-Assad base in western Iraq.
The number of attacks on US forces in both Iraqi and Syrian territories has surpassed 120 since October 17. The Iraqi resistance targets these forces in response to Washington's central role in the war on Gaza.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq extended its targeting beyond US forces to include Israeli targets. It declared yesterday that it had used drones to target a base affiliated with the Israeli occupation in the occupied Golan Heights.
Similarly, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a strategic site in occupied Haifa earlier, employing the al-Arqab missile, an advanced long-range cruise missile.
The Resistance also emphasized it "will continue to target enemy strongholds," promising that more is yet to come.
