US rewards 'Israel' with $100mn/day for killing Palestinians: Iran MFA
Nasser Kanaani says only "corrupt and despotic entities, grounded in the act of taking lives, can squander money for the merciless massacre of innocents" in Gaza.
A few days after the United States approved an aid package, the spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani, took to social media to call out the US for rewarding the mass murder of innocent Palestinians in the "unequal" battle in Gaza.
In the post on X, Kanaani said that the aid package is funded by American taxpayer money and demonstrates that the likes of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and others contributing to the war on Gaza "will be rewarded with a daily sum of one hundred million dollars from the United States for massacring innocent Palestinian civilians."
He noted that only "corrupt and despotic entities, grounded in the act of taking lives, can squander money for the merciless massacre of innocents".

This comes after the US Senate passed an aid package for the amount of $95.34 billion for Ukraine, "Israel", and Taiwan.

However, the bill is now set to head to the Republican-held House, where its future remains uncertain, especially considering that the Republicans have been highly critical recently of the unconditional and seemingly endless paychecks to foreign wars.
The package encompasses $60 billion designated for Ukraine, where military resources are quickly depleting. A substantial portion of these funds is intended to bolster Ukraine's military capabilities and replenish US weaponry and equipment deployed to the frontline.
Additionally, $14 billion has been allocated to support "Israel" and the US in carrying out military activities across the Middle East.
Furthermore, over $8 billion was earmarked for bolstering US partners in the Indo-Pacific, particularly Taiwan, as a means of deterring an alleged potential Chinese aggression.
On the other hand, in a statement late Monday night, US House Speaker Mike Johnson indicated that the Republican-led chamber would not take up the bill, saying that while the bill aided strategic US allies, it did not include changes to US immigration policy after a previous Senate text that encompassed both the border and foreign aid was killed by members of Johnson's party in the upper chamber.
