US running aggression, Biden has blood of Gazans on his hands: Hamdan
Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan urges people worldwide to sustain various expressions of solidarity, highlighting that over 21,000 people have been killed in Gaza so far.
Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan emphasized the movement's firm position on the "urgent need to halt the aggression against our people," revealing that Hamas received proposals from several countries regarding this battle against Israeli occupation forces in Gaza.
Hamdan emphasized, "Our people are not awaiting temporary pauses that the occupation would violate with additional atrocities against civilians; rather, they are after a comprehensive halt to the aggression."
Elsewhere in his remarks, he accused the US administration of being the one "orchestrating the aggression" and stressed that "the hands of US President Joe Biden are stained with the blood of Gaza's children."
He perceived the US escalation in the Red Sea as an "overt effort from Washington to shield the occupation and allow it to persist in its genocide war," pointing out that the US escalation represents a comprehensive strategy to expand the scope of fire.
Hamdan also praised the stance of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen in its support for its brethren in Gaza and the ongoing global pro-Palestine solidarity movements.
Furthermore, the top Hamas official urged people worldwide to sustain various expressions of solidarity, highlighting that over 21,000 people have been killed so far due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Hamdan expressed appreciation for the support of certain European nations condemning the actions of the Israeli occupation, calling on them to take a unified stance under the European Union to stop the aggression. Simultaneously, he cautioned countries against participating in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's scheme of alleged "voluntary migration" of Gazans.
Hamdan condemned the "cowardly assassination" of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) military advisor, Brigadier General Seyyed Razi Mousavi, who was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on the Syrian capital, Damascus, on Monday.
He also denounced the aggression that targeted the Iraqi Resistance headquarters in Iraq, stressing that the attack was aimed at preventing the Iraqi Resistance from fulfilling its duties toward Gaza.
It is worth noting that Hamdan said, on Saturday, that the Israeli occupation failed in terms of achieving any of the declared goals of its aggression on the Gaza Strip, and his regime is currently stuck in a war with no end in sight as its army is incurring major losses and its soldiers are fleeing the battlefield.
Hamdan concluded by highlighting that the Palestinian martyrs and casualties were not mere statistics; "they are individuals with hopes and dreams."
