US warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Yemen early Friday, with multiple locations in and around the capital, Sanaa, coming under fire.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, one of the strikes targeted the Asr area in the al-Wahda district, southwest of the capital. Two additional strikes hit the Attan area in southern Sanaa, while another airstrike was reported in the Hamdan district to the north.
A day earlier, four American airstrikes struck the Khabb wa Ash Sha'af district in the northeastern al-Jawf province.
Haifa comes under Yemeni attack
At dawn, sirens sounded across the coast of northern occupied Palestine, with Israeli media outlets reporting that a missile attack from Yemen targeted Haifa.
Sirens sounded in the city of Haifa, the city of Akka, the Krayot, and Mount Carmel.
This area is not typically targeted in Yemeni operations, which have largely concentrated on the Tel Aviv region and southern occupied Palestine, including occupied Isdud and the al-Naqab desert.
Yemeni Armed Forces target US aircraft carriers
In response to continued American aggression, Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced a precision drone operation targeting the US aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson and its escort warships stationed in the Arabian Sea.
"We carried out a military operation targeting the US aircraft carrier Vinson and several of its accompanying warships in the Arabian Sea," Saree confirmed in a statement on Wednesday. "The operation against the Vinson and its escort vessels was executed using multiple drones."

Aftermath of the confrontation with USS Truman
Saree noted that the operation against the USS Carl Vinson followed a separate confrontation with another US carrier group.
"The targeting of the Vinson came 24 hours after the blessed operation that forced the US aircraft carrier Truman to retreat," he said. "The blessed operation forced Truman to withdraw to the far northern Red Sea toward the Suez Canal."
He added that the earlier attack led to the downing of an American F/A-18 fighter jet and the disruption of an aerial offensive by US forces.
Retaliatory strikes reach occupied Palestine
In addition to the maritime operations, Saree revealed that Yemeni forces carried out a dual drone strike against strategic targets inside occupied Palestine.
