US-UK launch airstrikes on Yemen, including Sanaa
A US-British aggression on Yemen targets the Sanaa, Sanhan, and Harf Sufyan districts, while Yemeni forces continue operations at sea in support of Gaza.
The US-British aggression on Yemen launched raids on Wednesday targeting several areas, including the capital, Sanaa, while the Yemeni armed forces continue to carry out military operations at sea and against the Israeli occupation entity, in support of the Resistance in the Gaza Strip.
The aggression targeted Sanaa and Harf Sufyan District in Amran Governorate, northern Yemen, with missiles launched by warships in the Red Sea, according to what Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Sanaa confirmed.
Two raids by the US-UK aggression targeted the Jarban area, in the Sanhan district, south of Sanaa.
It is noteworthy that the aggression launched, at dawn Sunday, three strikes on the eastern part of Saada Governorate, northern Yemen, causing significant damage to public and private property.
The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malek al-Houthi, commented on the attacks on Yemen, stressing that Yemen would not retreat from its principled position, in terms of "faith, humanity, and morality," and that the aggression "contributed to developing Yemen's military capabilities."
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that the aggression "will not even affect the level of the Yemeni position," stressing "the trend in our position towards the higher level, and striving for what is greater."

On a related note, two days ago, Yemeni security forces announced they had thwarted hostile activities orchestrated by the British MI6 and Saudi intelligence in December 2024.
In a detailed statement, the Yemeni security sources revealed that "British intelligence, in cooperation and coordination with Saudi intelligence, recruited and trained espionage operatives to carry out intelligence activities targeting the country’s strategic assets."
The statement highlighted that British and Saudi intelligence officers trained these operatives in Riyadh on surveillance and information-gathering techniques. The operatives were also provided with advanced espionage equipment, including devices capable of precise location tracking and gathering coordinates.
According to Yemeni authorities, the recruited network aimed to target military and security sites, as well as monitor and track the locations, residences, and movements of key state leaders. The network also allegedly targeted strategic facilities, such as the missile force and drone units, and even placed GPS devices on vehicles and other targets.
