Venezuelan Parliament leader condemns 'Israel's' genocide in Gaza
Venezuela was among the early nations to condemn "Israel's" actions in Gaza.
The President of Venezuela's National Assembly Jorge Rodriguez on Wednesday denounced the genocide in Gaza committed by "Israel", expressing Venezuela's unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Speaking at the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum in Caracas on Monday, Rodriguez condemned the violence against Palestinians and highlighted the role of international military interests in fueling the genocide.
"Every hospital that is bombed, and every university and school that is destroyed, highlights what the American military-industrial complex is doing for war profiteers," Rodriguez stated, strongly criticizing the global entities supporting the Israeli atrocities.
He noted that those supplying bombs, planes, and missiles are as complicit as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he accused of directing violent actions in Gaza.

Venezuela was among the early nations to condemn "Israel's" actions in Gaza.
On October 15, 2023, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned the "indiscriminate attacks on the civilian population by Israel, causing thousands of deaths and injuries," which he said crossed "the line of respect for international humanitarian law."
He also pledged 30 tons of aid to Gaza on the same day.
US spent record $17.9 bln on military aid to 'Israel' since Oct. 7
A report published in early October 2024 revealed that the United States has allocated at least $17.9 billion in military aid to “Israel” since the outset of the war on Gaza.
Since 1948, "Israel" has received the largest amount of US military aid in history, totaling $251.2 billion in inflation-adjusted dollars since 1959, according to the report.
Notably, the $17.9 billion allocated since October 7, 2023, is the highest military aid amount sent to “Israel” in a single year, cited the report. The US committed to providing billions in military assistance to both “Israel” and Egypt as part of their 1979 agreement, and a subsequent agreement during the Obama administration has set “Israel's” annual aid at $3.8 billion through 2028.
The US aid to “Israel” since the outset of the war on Gaza includes military financing, arms sales, and at least $4.4 billion from US stockpiles and used equipment. This year, a significant portion of the weapons delivered were munitions, ranging from artillery shells to 2,000-pound bunker-busters and precision-guided bombs.
Expenditures included around $4 billion to replenish “Israel’s” Iron Dome and David’s Sling missile defense systems, along with funds for rifles and jet fuel.
