Vienna talks becoming increasingly difficult for Iranian envoys
Supreme National Security Council of Iran Secretary Ali Shamkhani criticizes the West for the show it is making to evade commitments.
Iranian national security chief Ali Shamkhani had a phone call with Tehran's chief delegate to Vienna, he announced on Twitter, saying the West's play was still ongoing in a bid for it to evade commitment.
Shamkhani said Bagheri Kani confirmed two statements he had in mind about the nuclear talks in the Austrian capital aimed at reviving the nuclear deal, which was abandoned by all parties after the United States withdrew under Trump in 2018 and imposed harsh sanctions on Iran.
According to Bagheri Kani, it is getting more difficult for the Iranian negotiators to advance Tehran's logical and legal instructions.
Tonight's phone call with @Bagheri_Kani confirmed 2 statements in my mind about #ViennaTalks:

1. Increasing difficulty of Iranian negotiators task to advance the logical and legal instructions of Tehran
2. Continuation of initiative "show" by Western parties to evade commitments
Iran brought a bunch of proposals to the negotiation table, adding that the Islamic Republic called on the other sides to present their own, an informed Iranian source told IRNA on Saturday.
Tehran stressed that Washington must "put an end to its doubts," the source said, revealing that the meeting between the two parties took place in Vienna to discuss the proposals of all delegations with emphasis on the removal of US sanctions on Iran.
Iranian negotiation chief Ali Bagheri Kani met Saturday with his European counterpart, Enrique Mora, his Russian counterpart Mikhail Ulyanov, and the Chinese delegation.
Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had previously stressed that one of Tehran's main issues was firstly reaching a stage in which the country is able to sell Iranian oil with ease and without any obstacles, and secondly, depositing foreign oil earnings in Iran's banks.
He had previously underlined that the West must take a serious and effective decision with regard to canceling the embargo and proving its true deflection from the failed policies of the previous US government.
