Violent confrontations erupted at dawn Saturday between Palestinian Resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces who stormed the camp and city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that reinforced Israeli occupation forces stormed the outskirts of Jenin and headed to the camp, resulting in violent confrontations with Resistance fighters who stood up to the attack, during which sounds of heavy bullets were heard.

The sources said that the occupation forces stormed the house of Maher Turkman, whom the IOF is in pursuit of, in the vicinity of Jenin camp, before withdrawing from the camp and its surroundings.

They added that the Israeli occupation forces launched search operations in the area in pursuit of suspects, while no injuries were reported.

Earlier on Friday, Israeli occupation forces killed Mahmoud Naim Badir, a Palestinian youth from the city of Kafr Qassem in the '48 occupied Palestinian territories, after he allegedly carried out a shooting and ramming attack, injuring two Israeli occupation police officers.
