Washington reduces activity in Kuwait US bases due to threats
The US Embassy in Kuwait announced that it is “aware of the threats made...by Alwiyat al-Waad al-Haq...against US military bases in Kuwait,” and has decided to reduce its activities.
The US Embassy in Kuwait issued a security alert confirming threats against US military bases in Kuwait, which were posted on X.
The embassy's statement stated that it was "aware of threats made on social media by Alwiyat al-Waad al-Haq, a militia group in Iraq, against US military bases in Kuwait."
It added, "As a result, the US Embassy in Kuwait is limiting its activity on US military bases to essential and official events only," adding that US citizens are advised to "remain alert."

In support of Palestine
This comes after the Alwiyat al-Waad al-Haq (True Promise Brigades) who identify themselves as the "sons of the Arabian Peninsula" affirmed that "patience has limits in the face of what we are witnessing today against the Palestinian people," declaring that the group considers US bases in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates "legitimate targets."
On the same note, the Iraqi Resistance announced earlier on Monday that it had targeted two US military occupation bases in Syria, the al-Omar Oilfield in Deir Ezzor, and the al-Shadadi base in the al-Hasakah countryside, eastern Syria.
According to the official statement, the bases were successfully hit with suicide drones noting "direct hits".

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the Iraqi Resistance has targeted US bases. Earlier on Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attack on the US occupation's al-Tanf base in Syria and other US occupation bases near al-Rukban camp.
The Resistance group revealed that the offensives were carried out with drones that caused severe damage after they directly hit their targets. It also announced that its fighters conducted a drone strike on the US occupation's al-Malikiyah base in Syria.
