We'll immediately respond to any attack on our country: Iranian spox
The Iranian government spokesperson reaffirms Iran's commitment to respond to any attacks on its territory, while Brigadier General Ali Fadavi highlights the exceptional performance of the Resistance front.
Iranian government spokesperson, Fatemeh Mohajerani, emphasized that "Iran is unwavering in its commitment to defending its interests, and its history demonstrates that it never compromises on national security with anyone."
She added, "Iran has never started any war. Frankly, we tell everyone not to twist the lion's tail."
Mohajerani warned "against messing with Iran," stressing that what the world saw in Operation True Promise 2 demonstrated only a small part of the country's capabilities.
The spokesperson underscored that "Iran, regardless of the events unfolding behind the scenes in Israel and the United States, is fully prepared to respond to any aggression and will not waver in its commitment to defending its interests."
She added, "As the Leader ordered us, we will not rush, nor will we delay responding to any attack, and we will respond to it at the necessary time and place."
Meanwhile, CNN reported an Iranian source as stating, "Contrary to some misinformation, Tehran has communicated to Washington and countries in the Middle East that it will respond to any new Israeli attack."
In a similar vein, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, issued a stark warning to "Israel," declaring, "If the Zionists make any further mistakes, we will respond with greater intensity. In that case, we may opt to target and dismantle their infrastructure."
In a related statement, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, echoed this warning, saying, "If Israel does not exercise restraint and takes any action against Iran, we will target its entire infrastructure."
'The war will end in victory': Brigadier General Fadavi
Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran, emphasized the exceptional performance of the Resistance front.
He noted that the past year has strengthened the Resistance's capabilities across the region, stating that today, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Yemen are working closely together against their adversaries.
Fadavi's remarks were made during the funeral ceremony for martyr Iranian General Abbas Nilforooshan, where he stated, "The outcome of the war is clear, and victory belongs to the people of truth over evil."
In this context, he highlighted that coordination between the field and diplomacy has always been present and has become even more cohesive in recent times.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned yesterday of the severe consequences of the current situation in the Middle East, particularly in light of the Israeli occupation's ongoing aggression against Gaza and Lebanon.
Speaking at the 149th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva, Ghalibaf stated, "The world will witness a major crisis, and the region will ignite," if Israeli massacres, supported by the United States and its allies, continue.
Ghalibaf called on nations supporting "Israel" to "halt their intelligence, political, and economic backing of the Zionist entity before it's too late." He emphasized that the Israeli escalation would set the region ablaze, warning, "Once that happens, peace cannot be restored. Everyone will suffer," including the US and the occupation's allies.
