Israeli occupation forces raided the Qalandiya refugee camp, north of al-Quds, early Wednesday morning before they were forced to withdraw due to heavy confrontations with the local Palestinian Resistance which inflicted on them heavy losses.

The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed the martyrdom of Palestinian local Ahmed Nidal Aslan this morning, who succumbed to severe injuries inflicted by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) gunfire during the raid.

Additionally, eight other Palestinian youths from the camp were injured during confrontations and were all later transferred to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

The IOF also demolished the house of martyr Mohammed Manasra in the camp after besieging it and forcibly evacuating nearby homes. Manasra was martyred by Israeli occupation forces last February near the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.

The IOF also raided several homes in the camp, causing widespread destruction.

Customs police officer martyred

In a similar context, in Tubas, northeastern West Bank, 23-year-old Abdul Nasser Mohannad Sarhan from Balata refugee camp, a member of the customs police, was martyred by Israeli occupation gunfire. Two others were injured after the occupation forces fired at the customs police in the city.

The occupation had initially infiltrated the city with special forces units before sending in military reinforcements.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the IOF withdrew from the city after confrontations with the local Palestinian Resistance erupted, with the IOF detaining former prisoners Mohammed Said Abdul-Razzaq and Sameh Rafiq Draghma.

Later the Israeli occupation forces also raided the city of Qalqilya, western West Bank, where a Palestinian was injured by Israeli occupation gunfire during the raid.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Qalandiya, Tubas, and the city of Dura in southern al-Khalil due to heavy confrontation led by the Palestinian Resistance which inflicted heavy losses upon the raiding occupation forces.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 589 Palestinians have been martyred by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, including 142 children.

Israeli forces withdraw from Tulkarm under Palestinian Resistance fire

Yesterday, July 23, the Hamas Movement mourned the martyrs of the Tulkarm refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, especially the Resistance commanders who were killed on Tuesday morning by an Israeli drone strike on the camp during a wide-scale Israeli aggression there.

An Israeli drone strike on the Tulkarm refugee camp killed on Tuesday morning five Palestinians, including three Resistance commanders, along with a mother and her daughter,

Hamas mentioned that the Israeli assassination targeted the commander of the al-Qassam Brigades in the Tulkarm camp, Ashraf Nafi’, along with commanders in the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Mohammad Awad and Mohammad Badi'.

The movement emphasized that these assassinations would not break the Resistance’s resolve and would only strengthen the Palestinian people’s determination to continue their path of defiance and confrontation against the Israeli occupation.
