With far-right ties, Kanye West announces 2024 presidential bid
This announcement marks the second person to enter the race after Donald Trump declared he will be running for the 2024 presidential elections.
Defamed rapper and designer, formerly known as Kanye West, announced his plans to run for the presidential general elections in 2024, despite facing several scandals over his recent racist remarks and new far-right associations.
This declaration marks the second person to enter the race after Donald Trump announced he will be running for the elections.
Yesterday, Adidas announced it launched an investigation into allegations of misconduct made this week against Kanye.
According to a source quoted by the magazine Rolling Stone, Ye allegedly created a "toxic environment" at the sportswear company using "porn, bullying and mind games."
Gap and Balenciaga also followed suit with the sportswear brand following racist remarks.

Ye even claimed that George Floyd died due to fentanyl in his system rather than police officer Derek Chauvin's knee being on his neck, for which he apologized repeatedly but still dealt him a mighty blow.
Attorneys for George Floyd's daughter and her mother have sent rapper Kanye West a cease-and-desist letter, demanding that he refrain from commenting publicly about Floyd's death as he did recently.

This can be added to the controversial “White Lives Matter” statement T-shirt, which he wore during the Paris fashion week and is seen as a right-wing phrase that takes a swipe at the Black Lives Matter movement.
Yeah...just remember this. Just a few weeks ago you stood there, fan girl'ing over Kanye ...AGAIN ... and perpetrated fraudulent loyalty to him and Donald Trump...while wearing a White Lives Matter shirt. pic.twitter.com/CKuPk1NUaD

The bold fashion move resulted in him being dropped by banker JPMorgan and his talent agent CAA, lawyers, and record company.
Ye later reported he had lost “$2bn in one day."

Ye was recently spotted at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago country club and home in the company of self-proclaimed white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
In the subsequent video, titled "Mar-A-Lago Debrief", Ye said that after he asked Trump to run as his vice-president in the 2024 elections, the former President "started basically screaming at me at the table, telling me I’m going to lose. Has that ever worked for anyone in history? I’m like, 'Wait, hold on Trump, you’re talking to Ye.’"
NEW: Ye says he asked Trump to be his 2024 running mate, questions why he didn’t “free the Jan 6ers" and compares him to a mob guy in a “Mar-a-Lago” debrief video posted this evening.

Fuentes is reputed for his provocative racist, misogynistic, and fascist opinions.
In 2020, he founded a white nationalist organization called America First Foundation.
He has frequently been called a white supremacist by the US Department of Justice and has been banned from multiple social media platforms.
