Violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces during their storming of the city of Tubas, northeast of the occupied West Bank, at dawn on Sunday.

Up until the early morning hours, Resistance fighters were engaging Israeli vehicles with pre-prepared explosive devices in the al-Tayaser axis in the city, and showering invading forces with gunfire, as confirmed by the Tubas Brigade of the al-Quds Brigades.

In the al-Wad axis, the Brigade had set up a complex ambush against the occupation forces, whereby the Resistance fighters in the engineering unit targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an IED, disabling it.

Later, an Israeli media platform confirmed that a “Tigris” military vehicle that mounted an explosive device was damaged during “operational activity” in the town of Tubas in the Jordan Valley.

In the ambush, the Resistance fighters showered the Israeli support forces with gunfire, impacting the soldiers directly, in parallel with their confrontation with the invading forces on other battle fronts and targeting sniper positions and infantry forces with heavy salvoes of bullets.

The Tubas Brigade of the al-Quds Brigades set up another complex ambush against Israeli infantry forces near the house of a Palestinian pursued by the occupation forces, also impacting the soldiers directly.

On its part, the al-Qassam Brigades in Tubas confirmed that its fighters confronted the Israeli forces storming the city and showered them with bullets.

As the occupation forces were withdrawing from the city, pulling behind the damaged vehicle, a second explosive device was detonated.

Arrests in Qalqilya, Nablus

In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the city of Qalqilya, accompanied by a military bulldozer, which razed and destroyed streets and infrastructure in the area.

Israeli occupation forces imposed a security cordon around the Islamic College, where a number of vehicles were destroyed, while they deployed snipers on Street 22 in the city.

Moreover, the occupation launched an arrest campaign during the raid. Among the detainees was the father of the Palestinian pursued by “Israel”, Jamal Abu Haniyeh, and the father and brother of another Palestinian pursued by “Israel”, Ali Bakr, whose homes were both stormed. Israeli occupation forces also arrested the Palestinian youth, Ghaleb al-Jitawi, after beating him.

Moreover, the Israeli forces ordered Abu Haniyeh’s family to leave their house in preparation for its demolition.

The same goes for Nablus, in the northern West Bank, where the occupation forces stormed the town of Kafr Qalil, east of the city, and arrested the female student at An-Najah University, Ibtihal Nawaf al-Amer, after storming her house.

Israeli forces also arrested Lutfi Khaled Salman and Rakan Abd Rabbo, during the storming of the village of Qusin, west of Nablus, and they stormed the town of Talfit, south of the city.

As for al-Khalil, in the south of the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Bani Naim, east of the city, the city of Dura, south of it, and the Wadi al-Hariya area, in the center, in parallel with a campaign of raids targeting several houses.

The occupation forces also stormed the village of al-Mazraa Aal-Gharbiyya, north of Ramallah.
