The al-Qassam Brigades - Qaffin Brigade claimed Thursday responsibility for the targeting of an Israeli military vehicle using an Improvised explosive device (IED) planted between the Israeli Harmeesh settlement and the village of Barta'a in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Brigade confirmed that the operation carried out by its Resistance fighters against the Israeli military vehicle caused direct hits.

Earlier, Israeli media reported that four Israelis were injured in an explosion near the Harmeesh settlement in northern Tulkarm.

Citing security assessments about the incident, the Israeli Army radio indicated that the explosive device was detonated remotely after the Israelis reached a farm in Harmeesh. It mentioned that the device exploded after one of the passengers got out of the vehicle to open the gate.

Military ambulances were seen arriving at the site of the explosion, as per Israeli media.

It is noteworthy that the al-Qassam Brigades have also claimed on Wednesday responsibility for a shooting operation targeting a vehicle carrying Israeli settlers near the village of Ramin, east of Tulkarm, confirming that its fighters withdrew safely after causing three injuries among the settlers.

The Brigades vowed that its fighters in the West Bank will continue targeting settlers as long as the Israeli occupation persists and continues its aggression against the Palestinian people.

The al-Qassam Brigades pointed out that the operation was in retaliation for the blood of the martyrs and in response to the Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip, the crimes in the occupied West Bank, and the violations against Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation prisons.

In his speech on July 7, the spokesperson of the al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, affirmed that the ongoing escalation of acts of resistance in the occupied West Bank is a response and a choice of the Palestinian people in the face of systematic genocide.
