It is noteworthy that, since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has intensified its aggression on West Bank cities, coinciding with its war on the Gaza Strip.
For the past eight months, the occupied West Bank has been witnessing near-daily raids by the Israeli occupation forces accompanied by widespread detainment campaigns, met with fierce resistance by the Palestinian youth.
Since October 7, the Israeli occupation forces have detained more than 9,700 Palestinians in the West Bank, according to Palestinian institutions concerned with prisoners' affairs.
The detainment campaigns launched by the Israeli occupation forces are accompanied by criminal violations against Palestinian citizens, including brutal physical assault, blackmailing Palestinians by threatening their families' well-being, widespread destruction and vandalism of the homes of detainees, and the theft of private property.
