The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out operations against military targets in "Israel" and the Red Sea, according to an announcement by the YAF's spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree.
The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a strike against a military target in the occupied city of Yafa with an armed Yafa drone, spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Monday.
Saree also announced that the YAF's navy and UAV units conducted a joint military operation targeting two US Navy destroyers with numerous cruise missiles and drones, emphasizing that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to target hostile navy fleets in the Red Sea.
The YAF spokesperson emphasized that the crimes committed against the people of Yemen and the targeting of civilian facilities in several provinces "confirm the enemy's failure to achieve its objectives," noting that "these crimes will only increase the Yemenis' steadfastness and adherence to their unwavering position in support of the Palestinian people."
Brigadier General Saree reiterated that Yemen's military support for Gaza will only cease with the end of the aggression on the Strip and the lifting of the siege imposed on it by the Israeli occupation.
The announcement comes as the US aggression on Yemen continues, targeting several areas, including the capital, Sanaa, and killing and wounding tens of civilians.
US spending billions on Yemen strikes with limited impact
Four civilians were killed and 16 others injured, including women and children, in a preliminary toll from a US aggression that targeted a house in the Shaab al-Hafa area of the Shaoub district, northeast of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, according to a report from the Health Ministry on April 6.
In west Saada, four US airstrikes struck the Hafsin area, killing one civilian and injuring four others in a preliminary toll, while Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV reported that the attack targeted a shop selling solar energy equipment.
Although US President Donald Trump has described Ansar Allah as “decimated” by what the Pentagon has dubbed Operation Rough Rider, launched on March 15, military and intelligence officials speaking to Congress and allies in private briefings admit that most of the Yemenis' vast underground arsenal of missiles and drones remains intact.
CNN revealed that the military offensive against Sanaa has cost the US nearly $1 billion in less than three weeks, despite the limited impact the strikes have had on Yemeni capabilities.
