Yemeni military media released on Thursday evening footage of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) striking the British oil vessel Cordelia Moon in the Red Sea and smoke billowing from the ship as a result of severe damage caused by the attack.

The release of the footage comes two days after YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the naval, missile, and UAV forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the Cordelia Moon British oil tanker in the Red Sea using eight ballistic and cruise missiles, a drone, and a USV, resulting in severe damages.

Saree pledged that the YAF would continue carrying out their military operations and would not break the naval blockade against the Israeli occupation entity until the aggression on Lebanon and Gaza stops and the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip is lifted.

Earlier on Thursday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, confirmed that the YAF carried out operations in the Red and Arabian seas, as well as the Indian Ocean, targeting a total of 188 vessels.

The YAF also recently shot down additional US MQ-9 reconnaissance drones, bringing the total to 11 this year, he noted.

Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the United States and "Israel" sought to escalate their aggression against the Yemeni people, launching 39 airstrikes on Yemen this week alone.

The latest Israeli aggression on Hodeidah has failed and will fail to force the YAF to halt its operations in support of Gaza and Lebanon, he made it clear.

The coastal city was subjected on Sunday to an Israeli aggression that targeted its port, airport, and the al-Hali power generation station.

The spokesperson for the Sanaa-based Yemeni Ministry of Health told Al Mayadeen that five people were killed and 45 others were injured in the Israeli aggression on Hodeidah Governorate.

The aggression came after the YAF's missile force targeted the Israeli Ben Gurion airport in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) in parallel with the arrival of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the location.

Alongside the continuation of these operations, the Ansar Allah leader said Yemen's military capabilities are being further developed as part of the fifth phase of escalation against the Israeli occupation in support of the Palestinian people.
