The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa mourned the assassination of senior resistance leader Haitham Ali al-Tabatabai, hailing him as a martyr and commending his pivotal role in defending Lebanon and supporting the Palestinian Resistance and the Axis of Resistance as a whole.
In an official statement, the ministry asserted that the ongoing assassination policy and criminal operations reflect nothing but the failure and desperation of the Zionist entity on the battlefield, and its inherent threat to the region’s security and stability.
Arab silence put on blast
The statement further expressed regret over the disavowal of some Arab and Islamic regimes and the complicity of others, in addition to the international silence regarding the atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation in Palestine and Lebanon.
Yemen reaffirmed its solidarity with the Lebanese people and their steadfast Resistance, emphasizing Yemen’s position within the broader struggle against Zionist aggression.
Cuba condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon
In a related context, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez strongly condemned the latest Israeli attacks on Beirut, calling them a “serious and renewed violation of the ceasefire agreement, international law, and Lebanon’s sovereignty.”
Rodríguez stressed that the Zionist regime cannot continue its actions in the Middle East without consequence, warning that its aggression jeopardizes all ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
'Israel' kills 5, injures 28
Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health's emergency operations center released the official toll of the Israeli attack on Beirut's Southern Suburb on Sunday, November 23. The Lebanese government body stated that the attack on a residential area resulted in five martyrs and 28 wounded.
The Israeli occupation's attack signifies a major escalation in the series of attacks and violations that have rocked Lebanon's south and Beqaa valley since the imposed ceasefire last year.
