Yemeni Health Ministry spokesperson Anis al-Asbahi has confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the death toll from the US-led aggression on Sanaa and other governorates since mid-March has reached 61 martyrs and 139 wounded.

He also stated that since Yemen began its support operation for Gaza, the US-British-Israeli aggression has left 964 civilian casualties, including 250 martyrs. This toll reflects data recorded up until April 1.

Since Yemen resumed its operations at sea and against occupied territories in response to the renewed Israeli aggression on Gaza, the United States has intensified its attacks on Yemen, conducting airstrikes on various governorates.

The strikes targeted the Water Authority building in al-Mansuriyah district, southeast of Hodeidah province, killing two and injuring several others among the institution’s staff, in addition to other areas east of the district, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

The airstrikes also targeted the Washhah area in the Hajjah province, in the northwest of Yemen. Our correspondent said that US aircraft targeted a healthcare center and a school in the area. Moreover, the US renewed airstrikes on the coastal city of Hodeidah, located on the Red Sea, in western Yemen.

Additionally, US aircraft carried out repeated airstrikes on the Saada province in northern Yemen, causing material damage, but no precise human casualties have been reported so far.

On March 28, the leader of Ansar Allah, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, reaffirmed Yemen's stance against "Israel" and support of Palestine, emphasizing that the US will not subdue the Yemeni Armed Forces.

Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed in a speech commemorating al-Quds Day that the United States is incapable of achieving its goals and that its attempts will not affect Yemen’s military operations at sea, while the missile strikes targeting the Israeli entity will continue without any party being able to stop them.

The Ansar Allah leader stated that "the American escalation against Sanaa came as a preparation for a new phase aimed at isolating the Palestinian people," adding that "Washington seeks to pressure all those who have supported the Palestinian cause." He emphasized that the US is also striving to "exert maximum pressure on the Iranian people and employ military threats," ultimately serving its broader strategic objectives.

Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that "the position of the Yemeni people is a firm one," announcing that "the bombing operations toward occupied Palestine continue."
