Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that "Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport, followed by intensive overflights in the Yemeni airspace."

SABA news agency said that "the warplanes of the US-Saudi aggression launched five raids today on the capital, Sanaa."

This was confirmed by a security official whom the agency quoted as saying, "The coalition of aggression warplanes targeted Sanaa International Airport and its premises with five airstrikes."

Earlier today, five civilians, including a child, were killed in an airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition in Bayhan District, southeast Marib Governorate, northeast Yemen.

The official SABA news agency in Sanaa stated that "the Saudi aggression's warplanes targeted a car of a Yemeni citizen on the main road in the Harib District of Marib, which led to his death along with his two sons, in addition to two others who were in the car."

In another massacre committed by the Saudi-led coalition warplanes in the middle of the night in the Al-Libi residential neighborhood in Sanaa, the number of martyrs reached 23.

Al Mayadeen reporter indicated that an entire family was killed by an airstrike on the house of a retired pilot brigadier general in the area.

This massacre came after the Saudi coalition announced mass airstrikes on Sanaa, carrying out several raids throughout the night "in response to the threat and military necessity."

The Saudi attack followed a statement on Monday evening by the Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier-General Yahya Saree, in which he explained the context of the armed forces' operation that hit the depth of the Emirates.

"We carried out a qualitative military operation, Yemen Hurricane, in response to the escalation of aggression against the country," Saree said in a statement.

Saree explained this morning that the missiles used in Operation Yemen Hurricane are of the Quds-2 type, pointing that the oil refinery in Mussafah and Abu Dhabi airport was targeted with 4 missiles.
