Yemen: Victims' number rises in Saudi coalition massacre in Sanaa
Saudi coalition warplanes committed a massacre in the Al-Libi residential neighborhood in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
The number of victims of the massacre perpetrated by the Saudi coalition warplanes in the Al-Libi residential neighborhood in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, has risen to 23.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an entire family fell victim as a result of an attack on the house of a retired pilot brigadier general situated in the residential neighborhood.
Our correspondent also pointed out that the Saudi coalition's raids prevented ambulance crews from reaching the Al-Libi neighborhood.
The Saudi coalition had announced the start of multiple airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, carrying them out throughout the night.
Saba News Agency reported that victims fell as a result of the two airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition near the September 21 park and Azal Hospital, north Sanaa. Furthermore, the coalition warplanes also targeted a former armored First Division camp in the same area.
The coalition claimed that the launching of airstrikes in Sanaa is "in response to the threat and is dedicated by military necessity" adding that "the situation on the ground requires continued strikes in response to the threat."

In a statement on Monday evening, the Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier-General Yahya Saree, explained the context in which the armed forces' operation hit the depth of the UAE.
Saree also warned the UAE that it would not be safe if it continued its escalation against Yemen.
In this context, the Yemeni Joint Meeting Parties vowed that "this operation will not be the last if the aggression continues." The parties continued to explain that the price that the UAE is paying "confirms that any country that targets Yemen, violates its sovereignty and independence, and occupies its islands will not be safe from targeting."
