Yemeni Armed Forces shoot down Saudi-led coalition drone in Harad
The Yemeni Armed Forces say it shot down a Saudi-led armed spy drone carrying out hostile actions in the vicinity of Harad.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed Thursday that the Yemeni air defenses have shot down an armed spy drone that belongs to the Saudi Air Force in the airspace of Harad District in Hajjah Governorate.
Saree indicated that the Chinese-made CH4 armed spy drone, while carrying out hostile actions in the vicinity of Harad, was shot down using a surface-to-air missile.

This comes after the Saudi-led coalition warplanes targeted Hajjah Governorate with 13 airstrikes, in conjunction with the continuation of violent confrontations in the governorate.
Al Mayadeen correspondent in Sanaa reported Wednesday that the Yemeni Army Forces and Popular Committees liberated the strategic Al-Muhsam camp, north of the Harad district in Hajjah, which borders Saudi Arabia, following violent battles with Hadi forces and the Saudi coalition, resulting in many deaths and injuries in the latter’s ranks.
For its part, the Saudi-led coalition had announced that more than 30 members of Hadi's forces and the coalition have been killed on the Saudi borders.
