Illegal Israeli settlers have been knocked wide awake by sirens triggered by Yemeni attacks on occupied territories, four times in less than a week, in what Israeli website Ynet coined a "new campaign of attrition."

According to the website, the Israeli air defenses was able to intercept a few missiles before they entered occupied airspace, but the debris and fallout have caused property damage and generally disrupted daily life.

Yedioth Ahronoth, on the other hand, described settlers as "zombies" awoken by sirens after a Yemeni missile was launched at Gush Dan in central "Israel".

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces concluded their investigation into the rocket attack on Tel Aviv last week, noting that the warning alarms were delayed for unspecified reasons. The army stated it has learned lessons from the incident, as "Israel" allegedly prepares for further escalation.

This comes amid the increasing threat Yemen poses not only to "Israel" but also to the United States and international security, Ynet further said.

Yemen bombards central 'Israel'

A missile fired from Yemen at central Israeli-occupied areas triggered sirens in dozens of cities and settlements early on Wednesday.

The Israeli occupation military claimed it intercepted a ballistic missile fired from Yemen before it entered Israeli airspace. "Sirens regarding rocket and missile launches were activated due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception," the military wrote on Telegram.

The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) targeted an Israeli military site in the occupied Yafa area using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, Saree announced on Wednesday.

The operation successfully achieved its objectives, Saree confirmed in a statement, adding that the attack was in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance and in response to the Israeli massacres committed against people in Gaza.

He added that the operation was part of the fifth phase of support for the Gaza front and in retaliation against the Israeli aggression on Yemen.
