Mass rallies were held across Yemen today, Friday, as part of the country’s ongoing weekly demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people amid "Israel’s" ongoing genocide in the Strip.

This week’s marches carried the slogan: "In allegiance to the martyrs… We will not retreat from supporting Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices," with a major gathering taking place at Sanaa’s Sabeen Square.

In a statement, the organizers affirmed that “the price of noble stances is pure blood, but their outcome is the promised victory and the unequivocal triumph in this world and the hereafter.” The statement stressed that any act of aggression or violation against any part of the Ummah is an attack against all, adding that “every martyr who falls in any country is one of our martyrs.”

It also expressed Yemen’s solidarity with the Hamas leadership targeted by Israeli aggression in Qatar, while voicing support for Qatar itself and rejecting the “Zionist violations against them and their sovereignty.”

The statement further praised the escalating intensity of military operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces, noting that they "have recently escalated with greater momentum and deeper reach into enemy territory."

Ongoing Israeli aggression on Yemen

The rallies come in the wake of a major Israeli escalation against Yemen earlier this week. On September 9-10, "Israel" carried out large-scale airstrikes on Sanaa and al-Jawf, targeting at least 15 civilian sites, including government buildings, a health station, newspaper offices, and the Central Bank.

According to Yemen’s Health Ministry, the aggression killed 46 Yemenis and wounded 165 others, including civilians, journalists, and bank employees. Yemeni officials stressed that the strikes targeted "purely civilian sites" with no military function.

Yemeni Armed Forces continue to strike the entity

In retaliation, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a series of operations against "Israel," including a drone strike on Ramon Airport in the Naqab that brought air traffic to a halt, as well as strikes on targets in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), Askalan, Isdud, and Yafa.

The forces also deployed a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile with multiple warheads against sensitive sites around occupied al-Quds and al-Naqab. These successive drone and missile operations forced millions of settlers into shelters, marking a significant escalation in Yemen’s response.
