The 23-year-old's then-possible move to Madrid has kept fans and the two clubs on their toes over the past few months.
Mbappe has made no secret of his desire to play one day for Real, who will play against Liverpool in the Champions League final next weekend after securing a 35th Spanish league LaLiga title.
However, the player's mother affirmed that “There was never a full agreement confirmed" to Real Madrid.

It now appears Mbappe is staying alongside his teammates Neymar and Lionel Messi to help them in their quest to win the Champions League.
According to Marca, Mbappe has informed Real Madrid president Florentino Perez of his decision to remain in Paris.
In the same context, PSG confirmed Friday that Argentine player Angel Di Maria will leave the club after seven years with the French champions.
The 34-year-old, who joined from Manchester United and also played for Real Madrid, will play his match for PSG in Saturday's season finale against Metz.
"He will be remembered by supporters as a player with an irreproachable state of mind, who has shown an unfailing commitment to defend our colours," expressed club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
In 294 matches, Di Maria scored 91 goals. He is expected to move to Juventus in Italy next season.
