Former Palestinian PM: Any Gaza arrangement excluding the Palestinian Authority is doomed

In his interview for Al Mayadeen, former Palestinian Prime Minister and Palestinian Authority’s Special Envoy Mohammed Ishtayeh emphasized that the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire has to be completed and cannot succeed without the direct involvement of the Palestinian Authority. He asserted that any plan to establish a separate transitional administration in Gaza is "doomed to fail," noting that the Authority already employed thousands of civil and security staff capable of managing essential services.
