Frank Romano: Preparing ICC and European Court complaints over 'Israel's' abuse in prison

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, lawyer Dr. Frank Romano announced that he is leading efforts to gather evidence and file new legal complaints against "Israel" before the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights over their "inhumane" treatment in Israeli prisons. Romano stated that he is working closely with activist Thiago Avila to compile documentation of violations against the detained activists when the Global Sumud Flotilla was illegally intercepted in international waters, seized by the Israeli Navy, and horrifically treated by Israeli authorities in prison. He added that while Israeli lawyers from Adalah could also file complaints in domestic courts over prisoner abuse, he expects Israeli courts to rule in favor of the government "no matter what the government does."
