Rubio, Netanyahu perform Talmudic prayers at Western Wall in occupied Al-Quds
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, accompanied by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Ambassador Mike Huckabee, visited the al-Buraq Wall, also known as the Western Wall, in occupied Al-Quds on Sunday, where they performed prayers and placed notes between its stones before touring tunnels beneath the Old City’s Muslim Quarter. For Muslims worldwide, the Al-Buraq Wall is part of Islam’s third-holiest site, making Rubio’s stop at this flashpoint location, amid "Israel’s" ongoing genocidal war on Gaza, a clear provocation. Rubio's talks with Israeli officials are expected to center on the aftermath of "Israel’s" targeting of Hamas leaders who were supposedly gathered to discuss a new ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States, as well as the occupation’s declared plans to occupy Gaza City.
