Trump drops 'King Trump' video in response to massive 'No Kings' protests across US
In response to nearly 7 million Americans taking to the streets on Saturday, October 18, in over 2,700 "No Kings" protests, US President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated video on Truth Social depicting himself as "King Trump." In the 19-second footage, Trump drops what appears to be a sludge-like payload onto protesters below, set to "Danger Zone." The protests, held nationwide to denounce Trump’s perceived authoritarian tendencies, drew celebrities like Mark Ruffalo, Jimmy Kimmel, Robert De Niro, and Glenn Close, while JD Vance shared another AI clip showing Trump placing a crown on his head and drawing a sword to "Hail to the King." Even the official White House account joined the spectacle, posting an image of Trump and Vance in crowns above Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer.
