The Indian parliament began its recent monsoon session rocked by the scandal of Israeli Company NSO’s ‘Pegasus Spyware‘ technology, hacking mobile phones of political leaders, journalists, public officials, amongst others, in reaction to the International Investigative Committee of Journalists that represents 17 media companies in different countries, reporting that the NSO Israeli Company had hacked mobile phones of  50,000 people in total. The Editor’s Guild of India has demanded a high level investigation led by a Judge of the Supreme Court for serious violations of the human rights of Indian citizens, quite apart from the violation of the sovereignty of the Indian State; the list of names is only partial, many names of those targeted are not mentioned in this list, though they have been victims of the Pegasus spyware.

All sections of Indian society have denounced the Israeli Company services. Ongoing disclosures establish that the Indian government and its Intelligence and Security agencies colluded with the Israeli NSO company and that it was a vast hacking operation, to politically retain power by covert means. The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, one of the states of the Indian Union, publicly disclosed that the personnel of the Israeli Company NSO providing Pegasus Spyware services, visited the state under instructions of the Central government. Significantly, Chhattisgarh is a state where Indian and Transnational Companies have targeted and took over the mineral rich resources and land of the indigenous people, with paramilitary personnel deployed to rein in the struggle of Indigenous communities.

Whereas ancient Arab relations were thriving with India in terms of trade, science, mathematics, astronomy and culture, the Israeli Pegasus Spyware technology scandal unveiled another close connection: India was the main target of the Israeli Intelligence and Security Agencies, along with leaders and citizens of some Arab countries, including the Iraqi President. They were all acting in the interests of a wider financial Empire; in continuation of the Israeli Yinon Plan to fragment and destabilize West Asia and adjacent regions, including India and South Asia, on sectarian and religious lines, in order to control the natural resources of the country and spoil these regions. 

The Investigative report discloses that apart from India, presently the largest market for Israeli weapons, other governments have also availed Pegasus Spyware services. The Israeli company claims to have assisted select governments to pursue terrorists with this spyware. None of the citizens of India, including Rahul Gandhi of the Congress party, public figures, journalists and others, have any links with terrorist organizations. The list of countries using the Israeli Company services, mentions governments of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Turkey, despite their claims to support the anti-colonial and anti-apartheid struggle of the Palestinian people.

The exposure of ‘Pegasus Spyware’ explains the reversal in India’s policies on Palestine, and its abstentions on recent vital resolutions against the genocidal attack on Gaza, among other related issues at the UN Human Rights Council. This is evidence that India prioritizes collaboration with “Israel’s” security and intelligence agencies for internal operations in India and the region, against non-violent democratic and constitutional movements of citizens.

Citizens of other countries included in the list must be on the alert, because the most favored governments who have availed the Israeli services and spyware facility, are Azerbaijan, Morocco, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Rwanda, and others. This explains the extraordinary clandestine operations of “Israel” across continents.

Israeli Intelligence and Security Agencies have been gradually embedded in India’s security and surveillance agencies and departments after the economic reforms have begun, and governments of successive political parties at the center and few provincial governments, collaborated with Israeli security and Intelligence agencies in matters of internal security, to a lesser or greater extent. “Israel’s” covert operations in South Asia in more than one country, was aiming for destabilization and destruction of Sri Lanka, by training more than one side in the Sri Lankan civil war, despite the deliberate lack of global corporate media focus on its activities, as a former member of Mossad has stressed in a personalized account published three decades ago, after he left “Israel”.

It is not widely known that policies and patterns were outlined for the establishment of  National Security Councils and National Security Advisors under the auspices of the USA, in particular by governments founded after the military occupation by NATO or by other governments allied with Western elites, these procedures were to guarantee swifter intelligence, security and related joint operations, in close cooperation with "Israel", a military outpost of NATO’s Transnational financial institutions and corporations; to secure global economic and financial dominance by covert and overt means. For discreet collaboration, the NSA's role was vital to merge with the alliance, to bypass if necessary, the slower civil and military decision making procedures of these governments.

The uproar in parliament temporarily diverted attention from equally serious issues, such as the old epic non-violent farmers’ struggle, during which hundreds of farmers have lost their lives, agitating against 3 unconstitutional farm bills seeking to corporatize Indian agriculture and food supply; hurriedly passed last year, the Parliament adopted an illegal procedure without formal counting of votes in the Rajya Sabha (Upper House) of Parliament. Momentarily forgotten are the serious corporate banking frauds and capital flight out of India and the grim tragedy of the heavy death toll during the second wave of the lethal Delta strain; though the government of India became a member of the World Economic Forum (Davos) constituted ‘Committee for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation’ as early as 2017, along with few other selected governments and leading Pharmaceutical Companies. The government of India accepted the diktat of WHO and the Bill Gates and Melinda Gates Foundation, to prioritize vaccinations, though in short supply, and suppressed simple medical protocols for treatment, which would have enabled doctors to save many lives. More than a million people died in India, including some of those who had taken both doses of the vaccine, confident that they were safe.

While the Israeli Company NSO and its Pegasus Spyware continue to be in demand by several governments for hacking; Julian Assange is being crucified for exposing crimes of the Empire. The eminent British historian Eric Hobsbawm referred to the first two decades of the 21st Century as an ‘Age of Transition ‘; if there is no effective political resistance in our countries, a new ‘Age of Barbarism’ may overtake us, though never before, in world history, information and knowledge have been disseminated to this extent. Citizens are not mere consumers or bystanders, they are directly impacted, and integral to the movements struggling to regain the sovereignty of their societies from a global financial and corporate Empire, militarily or financially re-colonizing erstwhile colonies, using different strategies and a new lethal technological avatar to establish a ‘New World Order’ of banking and corporate Oligarchs over the world, misusing Artificial Intelligence to enslave people.
