Thousands march to US Embassy in London, denounce Trump’s Gaza displacement plan
Thousands gathered outside the US Embassy in London on Saturday after marching through the city to protest against US President Donald Trump’s proposal to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza. In London, protesters held symbolic cut-outs of the Key of Return and banners reading “Gaza is not for sale” and “Freedom for Palestine. No to Ethnic Cleansing.” British MP Jeremy Corbyn joined the demonstration, declaring in a post on Instagram: “Today, thousands of us demonstrated outside the US embassy with a message for Donald Trump: hands of Gaza. "The resilience of the Palestinian people will not be broken—nor will our solidarity. We will be here for as long as it takes until there is a free and independent Palestinian state," he added.
