A new poll conducted by the University of Maryland's Critical Issues series and published by Responsible Statecraft found a significant shift in US public opinion on "Israel's" war on Gaza. 41% of Americans described "Israel’s" war on Gaza as genocide or war crimes akin to it, while 61% believe US military, economic, and diplomatic backing has enabled "Israel's" atrocities. Trump greets Zelensky in WH, makes new comment about his attire
US President Donald Trump welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the White House. As the two leaders sat together in the Oval Office, the reporter who attacked Zelensky over his attire the last time complimented the Ukrainian president's suit. Trump agreed, responding, "I said the same thing." Earlier in the day, discussions had resurfaced over Zelensky’s outfit choices ahead of his meeting with Trump. The Ukrainian president had previously faced criticism from right-wing media in February for not wearing a suit during a visit that ended in a shouting match.
