1 killed, 7 injured in stabbing attack in Bodmin, UK
Police announce that investigations are underway, revealing that a 24-year-old Bodmin local was arrested.
Police reported that one person was killed in a stabbing assault and at least seven others were injured in the town of Bodmin in the UK county of Cornwall.
According to local media, police received a call to report a serious altercation in front of a nightclub where one of the involved individuals was specified to be in possession of a knife.
"A man in his 30s was confirmed deceased at the scene … At least seven other men and women have been injured and taken to hospital to receive treatment," the police report read.

Earlier in January, a 15-year-old girl was tragically stabbed in the Priestpopple district of Hexham, and a teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder, according to Northumbria police.
The ambulance service notified officers shortly of a complaint of a teenage boy and girl hurt in a suspected assault, as per police reports.
Police added that when emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they discovered that the youngsters had received injuries consistent with those caused by a bladed tool.
