‘136 coffins not what victory looks like,' Israeli settlers protest
An anti-government protest is underway in "Tel Aviv" and occupied al-Quds, calling for the resignation of the current Israeli government and the release of Israeli captives.
"Israel" is grappling with significant casualties among its soldiers in Gaza, and the existing deep-seated divisions within the entity are widening further, as anti-government rallies swipe the entity.
An anti-government protest is taking place in "Tel Aviv", demanding new elections and calling for the return of Israelis held captive by the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip.
The first speaker, Shirel Hogeg, accused Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of "playing politics with medicine for the hostages," referring to allegations that he concealed details of a Qatar-brokered deal to deliver medications to Israeli captives in Gaza from Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant.
An incident at the center of the protest, involving a counter-protester who fell and shouted accusations at the crowd, briefly disrupted the proceedings.
Yifat Calderon, the cousin of Israeli captive Ofer Calderon, also spoke to the crowd, calling on the government to “stop the fighting, to pay the price” for the captives.
Concurrently, hundreds have assembled outside the Israeli President's residence in occupied al-Quds for a demonstration arranged by the "Safeguarding Our Shared Homegroup," advocating for fresh elections. The group, known for organizing weekly protests against the judicial overhaul last year, has been demanding new elections for several weeks now.
Mor Shoham, whose brother is a captive, said that “136 coffins are not an image of victory.”
This comes just one day after al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine, announced, that an Israeli strike killed Ohad Yahalomi, an Israeli officer taken captive on October 7.
In a statement, al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades detailed that Israeli officer Ohad Yahalomi taken captive was targeted by the Israeli army along with the group responsible for him, resulting in his moderate injury, which was treated.
Israeli media: A large percentage of Israelis abroad refuse to return
Earlier today, Israeli channel Kan TV presented the results of a "remarkable" opinion poll regarding Israelis who have left "Israel" and refused to return, especially after the Palestinian Resistance launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.
The channel mentioned that the poll conducted by the World Zionist Organization revealed that 80% of Israelis abroad do not want to return to "Israel".
Gusti Yehoshua-Braverman, the head of the Organization and Relations Department at the World Zionist Organization and the poll's author, explained that "the public in Israel is going through a state of fluctuation," adding, "This is a shock, we are not beyond the shock, but rather inside the shock itself."
Recently, Israeli media have been observing data that are not usually disclosed by the Israeli "Population and Immigration Authority" regarding the number of applications for foreign citizenship and the possession of a second passport among Israelis, as well as their preferred destinations. According to these data, a significant number of Israeli settlers have already begun the process of going back to where they came from, including Spain, Portugal, the United States, and even Germany.
