Doha warns of consequences of 'Israel' targeting Iran's infrastructure
On that note, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry issued a warning on Friday over the dangers arising from "Israel's" targeting of Iran's economic infrastructure, calling the escalation “dangerous” and likely to lead to “catastrophic regional and international consequences,” including negative impacts on global energy supply stability.
In an official statement, the ministry said that continued military escalation “does not serve the security of the region,” and urged all parties to “avoid targeting civilian and economic facilities.”
The statement added that Doha is making “intensive efforts with its partners” to bring all sides back to the path of dialogue and to address outstanding issues in a manner that promotes regional security and stability.
Sirens sounded all over 'Israel' amid 18th wave of Iranian retaliation
On another note, the Israeli occupation army announced on Saturday at dawn that it had detected missiles launched from Iran toward the occupied territories.
Air raid sirens sounded across wide areas of occupied Palestine, from Netanya in the north to Ashdod in the south, including Tel Aviv and the central region.
Columns of smoke were seen, and loud explosions were heard amid reports that a missile had struck a building in Holon, south of Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Kan channel confirmed that Magen David Adom ambulance teams and security forces rushed to the scene of the explosion, as the Israeli military instructed settlers to remain in bomb shelters. Emergency crews are continuing efforts to contain the blaze, amid official silence regarding the extent of the damage and possible casualties.
Meanwhile, Iranian state television confirmed the launch of a new wave of missiles targeting occupied Palestine, marking the 18th wave of Operation True Promise 3.
