The Israeli occupation army acknowledged the death of three of its soldiers, including a captain, in ground battles in the Gaza Strip, while four others, including an officer, were severely injured.

Israeli media was allowed by the IOF to publish this information, as the occupation imposes strict control of information related to its losses.

On Monday, the Israeli army also revealed the deaths of two officers and three soldiers in ongoing battles in the sector with Palestinian Resistance, increasing the number of Israeli military casualties to over 400, with the wounded exceeding 1,000 since October 7.

Sky News revealed the death of British national Benjamin Needham as he participated in ground incursions with the IOF in Gaza, adding that Needham was the second British national to be killed, the first being Nathaniel Young.

The occupation army acknowledged that Needham was among three soldiers who were killed on Sunday, while the battles continued on the northern side of the Strip. When announcing his death, occupation forces mentioned Needham's name but did not mention his nationality.

The Palestinian Resistance in full force

This comes as the Palestinian resistance continues to confront the incursions of Israeli tanks and vehicles on several fronts in the Gaza Strip, hindering their progression and resulting in material and human losses.

On Monday, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that their fighters destroyed 28 Israeli military vehicles across all axes over the past 24 hours.

A few days before, on Friday, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, announced that its fighters targeted dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers, explaining that its fighters detected the presence of at least 60 Israeli soldiers inside tents at a location east of Juhr al-Dik.

The al-Qassam fighters planted three anti-personnel IEDs around the position, whereupon "the explosives were detonated at exactly 4:30 in the morning," the Palestinian Resistance said. "One of the fighters then approached to eliminate any remaining members of the force."
