Four Palestinian Resistance fighters were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm, in the West Bank.

The al-Quds, al-Qassam Brigades, and al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades mourned their deaths and affirmed that the assassinations "will only grow our adamance to fight and commitment to the choice of resistance," stressing that their response would be drastic.

Yazid al-Saaed (22), Nemr Hamarsheh (25), Mohammed Shehadeh (20), and Mohammed Ghannam (22), were killed in the targeted Israeli raid on the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm during the early hours of Wednesday.

The al-Quds Brigades - Tulkarm said its fighters' blood will not be shed in vain and addressed the Israeli occupation, saying, "You will taste agony, for we have hellfire prepared for you, in the alleyways of the camp that is witness to your remains... and tomorrow is ever near, to those who see it."

In a similar context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation claimed the Resistance fighters were trying to plant an explosive device at a location near the site where an Israeli Armored Personnel Carrier was detonated, during the raid of the camp a few days ago, which led to the killing of one occupation soldier and the wounding of another.

Palestinian media had reported the sound of a large explosion in Tulkarm after an Israeli drone launched an attack on the town of al-Bitaqa in the center of the camp.

National action factions and institutions of the Tulkarm Governorate mourned the martyrs of the camp, declaring a public strike on Wednesday and a national day of mourning, entailing all aspects but the Tawjihi exams.

This raises the number of killed Palestinians in Tulkarm over 24 hours to six after the IOF killed a woman and a child during a raid on Monday.

The attack occurred as Israeli forces were withdrawing from the Nur Shams camp after a raid that lasted over seven hours, during which they randomly opened fire, the correspondent reported.

Medical sources at Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital confirmed to the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Nasreen Khaled Damiri, 47, and Mohammad Ali Sarhan, 15, residents of the city's eastern neighborhood, were killed in the attack.
