Israeli occupation forces detained at least 12 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank on Friday and Saturday, including former prisoners. The detentions occurred in several governorates, including al-Khalil, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Salfit, and were accompanied by widespread destruction of Palestinian homes.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Society, these detentions are part of a larger pattern of escalating aggressions since the onset of "Israel's" ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of detentions to over 11,700 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank, including al-Quds.

In addition, Israeli occupation forces continue to detain civilians from Gaza, particularly from the northern regions, where detainees are subjected to enforced disappearance. The authorities have refused to disclose their identities or the locations of their detention.

Human rights organizations report that while the exact number remains untracked, it is believed that thousands of Gaza residents have been detained since the escalation began.

IOF raid Nablus, Resistance fighter repel incursion

Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank late Friday night, firing flares over its old city.

During the raid, the Israeli occupation forces stormed a house in the old city. Local sources reported to the Palestinian Information Center that the IOF were targeted with a locally manufactured explosive device and heavy gunfire near the al-Ain refugee camp, west of Nablus.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades - Nablus Battalion announced that, alongside local fighters, they had engaged the Israeli occupation forces during their incursion into the al-Ain camp, releasing heavy gunfire and explosive devices.

Earlier, Israeli occupation forces had also stormed the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, detaining a family inside their home. In parallel, the IOF raided the al-Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil.
