'Israel' has no response to situation in north: Israeli former off.
Zvi Hauser explains that the occupation has failed in the north, and has been failing since October 7.
"Israel" does not have any response to the northern situation, which is an unprecedented reality since 1948, according to Israeli Channel 12 citing former Knesset member former Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee Zvi Hauser as saying.
According to Hauser, since October 7, the idea and "delusion" of throwing settlers into the ocean, which had emerged between the years 1948 and 1973, but completely vanished following the Yom Kippur War, has reemerged in the minds of many people.
The main problem is that "Israel's enemies" are no longer afraid of the United States or the Israelis, he said, noting that what is happening in the Middle East is a tactical occurrence, by which Iran launched 330 rockets at "Israel" and experienced no response. There is a profound understanding that the Americans are no longer the "cop that directs rockets."
They are also no longer afraid of the Israeli tactical capabilities, which were embarrassingly exhibited when an average army with weapons from the 60s, RPGs, and Toyota vehicles, conducted the operation on October 7, Hauser stated.
This leaves "Israel" with no response to the northern situation, where around 100,000 settlers reside. Over the past eight months, however, another 100,000 settlers fled the occupied north.
'Israel' cannot win against Hamas, Hezbollah
This comes amid growing criticism of "Israel's" handling of the war in Gaza and the northern front against the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah.
Earlier today, Israeli Reserve Major General and military analyst Yitzhak Brik said the Israeli occupation forces will be met with failure in their war with Hamas, and they will certainly meet the same fate in a war against Hezbollah, in an op-ed for the Jerusalem Post.
Brik stressed that the IOF couldn't beat either Resistance faction, not because they do not seek victory, but simply because they can not emerge victorious, citing the "small and weak" army that has "no surplus of forces."
"Every day the war continues, our situation worsens," he said, decrying that both the IOF and the Israeli occupation in and of itself were heading toward internal collapse.
Brik had no one else but the war cabinet to blame for this, seeing as they are responsible for the management of the Israeli entity at such times, condemning the body by saying that its members had "only one daily goal", which was to continue the war no matter the cost so long as it safeguards their political positions.
"They must be stopped. They are leading the people of Israel like sheep to the slaughter," he said, reiterating that they did not care about the Israeli occupation itself but rather their own ranks within it.
